Visiting the website or the local org
We count visits to understand what is useful. We set no cookies and store no identifier on your device for this.
- Your browser sends short events, such as a page view, a button click, or how long each local org startup step took.
- Our server combines your IP address and browser name with a random value that exists for one day, and keeps only the result. The next day the value is deleted, so visits on different days cannot be linked, and the key cannot be traced back to you.
- Events never contain what you type, your org’s names, users, records or code. Paths with record IDs are shortened to
:id. - If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, we keep only an anonymous page count.
- Events are kept for up to 3 months in Cloudflare Analytics Engine, and up to 13 months in our private storage for year-over-year trends.
The local org runs on your device. Its data stays in your browser. You can turn its usage counts off in the local org menu, under “What runs locally”.
Applying for the pilot or subscribing
When you submit the pilot form or confirm a subscription, we link that day’s visit to you, so we can see how you found us and what you tried first. We use your answers to assess pilot fit and to contact you about your application.
- Pilot email is about your application or pilot. Reply any time; replies reach our team.
- Newsletter and product updates are sent only after you confirm by email (double opt-in). Every message has a one-click unsubscribe link and a link to choose lists.
- We count clicks by sending links through our own address before forwarding you. We do not use open-tracking pixels.
- If an address bounces or reports spam, we stop emailing it.
Who processes it
Cloudflare hosts the website, the local org, our databases and sends our email. We don’t sell your data or share it for advertising.
Your choices
Ask for a copy of what we hold about you, a correction, or deletion by emailing hello@virtualorg.cloud. Deleting your record also removes your application answers and our messages to you; if you ask, we keep only a scrambled form of your address so we never email it again.
